This beautiful bower is in a private garden in nearby Alawa. The owner has been coming to this garden for several years.
This is the second bower he has erected so the lady’s must not have liked the first.
This is not a nest. Male Bower birds erect these bowers to impress the female bird.
Lovely to know they are still in the area. It would be so lovely if one took up residence at the garden one day.
