DPAQ’s Biggest Morning Tea was held on Saturday in the ClubRooms, and what a wonderful morning it was!

While the final figures are still being tallied, we’re delighted that this year’s fundraising total will exceed last year’s amount.

A huge thank you to our generous sponsors for their donations for prizes: Harvey Norman, Just Stitchin’, Flying Fox, Dragonfly Fabrics and the crafters from the Gunbalanya community.

Special thanks also to the Biggest Morning Tea Committee, Robyn and Leanne, and to everyone who helped organised the day, judged our challenges and assisted behind the scenes.

Finally, thank you to all our members, and their guests, who brought along delicious food for the morning tea and supported this worthy cause. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and support made the morning such a success and helped make a real difference.

Materials to make Perinatal Bags for NT Health. We have already made over 100 bags but they have asked for another 100
We are planning to have a Charity Sewing Day on Saturday 4th July at the Club Rooms. We are looking for flannelette, cotton prints, 9 inch zips and/or continuous zips with heads
If you can help out please drop your donation at the club rooms or contact Christine Garrett if you have any questions or would like the pattern to make some at home.

It is the 5th Saturday in the month and we are holding our Charity Quilt day this Saturday from 9am to 2pm at 96A.

We have been donated quilt tops that were finished by Joy Baker and need to be completed. We have backings and wadding available, just need your help to finish the quilt.

Join us on Saturday for a free sewing day, morning tea will be provided and bring your own lunch or make a Quilt of Love at home to donate to our Charity Quilt Cupboard.
