Darwin Patchworkers and Quilters, (DPAQ) is a not for profit incorporated association. Darwin Patch No meeting is held in January.

Darwin Patchworkers and Quilters Inc was formed in 1984 by a small group of like-minded quilters. The club continued to grow in numbers as members of the public found it and other friendship groups joined. The number of members fluctuates as people come and go in Darwin. The dry season (May to October) brings many visitors to Darwin who are most welcome at meetings and workshops. MEETINGS
General meetings are held on the first Monday of the month from 7:00pm at
Art Space (club rooms), 96 Winnellie Rd, Winnellie. CHRISTMAS CLUB
Christmas Club meets on the second Saturday of each month from 10am at the club rooms. MONDAY SEWING
The club rooms are open from 9am to 3pm for members to work on their own project. THURSDAY THREADS
The club rooms are open from 9am to 9pm every Thursday for members to work on their own projects. FRIDAY STITCHERS
Friday stitchers are held every Friday from 10am at the clubrooms. SATURDAY STITCHES
Saturday Stitches is held on the Third Saturday of each month at the clubrooms. There is usually a club activity for each Saturday Stitches. MEMBERSHIP

Sit and Sew Days are going ahead on Thursday and Friday this week, however it will be held in the ClubRooms’ Conference Room.
Please only bring small projects to work on due to the limited space in the Conference Rooms.

The DPAQ Committee thanks you for your patience and understanding while the air conditioning works are continuing at 96A.

Barb Williams Saturday 24 th October- thread painting workshop

This took place in the conference room due to the air conditioner being under repair. First few photos are Barb’s amazing pieces, the rest the building up to making these awesome 3D butterflies. Fantastic results ladies .

~ REMINDER ~

ClubRooms are closed this week 19-23 October to facilitate the installation of new air conditioning system at 96A.

Works should be completed by end of the week and should be open for day 3 of the Butterflies Workshop.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – CLUBROOMS CLOSED NEXT WEEK

Good news! We’re getting new air conditioning installed at our ClubRooms at 96A Winnellie Road!

To facilitate the installation, the ClubRooms will be CLOSED from Monday 19 October to Friday 23 October.
