๐ช We're taking on the Push-Up Challenge! ๐ช
This year, some of the YouthWorX NT team are joining thousands of Australians in the Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and support for mental health.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be pushing ourselves one push-up at a time while helping start important conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Cheer us on, join the challenge, or consider supporting this fantastic cause. Together, we can help make a difference and show that no one has to face mental health challenges alone. ๐
Get moving for youth mental health ๐
The Push-Up Challenge is back from 3โ26 June, and weโd love you to be part of it.
Over 24 days, youโll receive a different push-up goal each day, with a few rest days along the way.
Not a push-up person? Thatโs totally okay. You can swap push-ups for other movements like squats, sit-ups, lunges, walking, or any movement that works for your body.
You can take part on your own, or bring your friends, workplace, school, gym or sports club together and create a team. The free app helps you track your progress, follow the daily targets, and keep a bit of friendly competition going with your team leaderboard.
Along the way, youโll also receive daily mental health facts and wellbeing tips to help start conversations, reduce stigma and raise awareness.
You can also choose to fundraise for headspace and help support better mental health outcomes for young people across Australia or your local headspace Centre.
