We could rent a billboard just to say thank you…so we did the next best thing.

Bra-lloween® is our one and only fundraiser of the year, and the generosity of our sponsors is what makes this night—and so much of the work that follows—possible. This event helps fund our mission throughout the year, providing professional bra fittings and essential garments to women and girls across our community.

Twelve years in, Breast Intentions is still powered by something pretty remarkable: people who choose to show up.

Pictured here are some of our board members and longtime volunteers. They’re part of a much bigger story—one built by every volunteer who has shared their time, talents, skills, and experience, every sponsor who has invested in our mission, and every organization that has opened its doors and worked alongside us.

For 12 years, that collective commitment has allowed Breast Intentions to grow, reach more women and girls, and continue providing something simple but essential: dignity, comfort, and support.

So much of what we do is possible because people across our community believe in this work and bring what they have to give. We are deeply grateful for every person and organization that has helped carry this mission forward.

On September 17, we’re bringing one big fitting event to two Catholic Charities housing communities—and we need volunteers to help us make it happen.

Mother Teresa Haven and Sisters Haven provide service-enriched housing where residents can work toward long-term stability with support and resources right where they live. For families and women navigating major transitions, rebuilding is about more than having a roof overhead. It’s also about having the everyday essentials that make it possible to move through the world with comfort, confidence, and dignity.

That’s where we come in.

Breast Intentions has worked alongside Catholic Charities Eastern Washington for years, bringing professional bra fittings and new, properly fitting bras directly to women in their housing communities. On September 17, we’ll serve residents of both Mother Teresa Haven and Sisters Haven at the same time.

To do that well, we need hands💗

Join us for an evening of practical, personal service that makes an immediate difference for the women we meet.

Please join us in welcoming Debbie Kizziar to the Breast Intentions Board of Directors. 💜

A retired surgeon, Debbie spent her career pairing precision and attention to detail with something equally important: care for the dignity of every person. She now brings that same thoughtful approach, steady leadership, and deep community experience to Breast Intentions.

We’re fortunate to have accomplished leaders like Debbie choose to invest their time, expertise, and energy in our mission. Their experience strengthens our organization and helps us continue growing the impact of our work for women across Washington.

We’re so grateful for the contributions Debbie is already making and excited for all she’ll bring to the work ahead. Welcome to the board, Debbie!

Ten years of Bra-lloween® calls for our biggest celebration yet.

We’re taking over The Boxcar Room for a night that’s equal parts chic, fun and meaningful. Think drinks from their legendary bar, great food by Cochinito, games, auctions, and plenty of surprises along the way.

In a year when Spokane has faced so much, there’s something especially meaningful about gathering together—to connect, have some fun and show up for the community we all call home.

Early Bird tickets are $75 through August 31. Prices go up September 1, so now is the time to grab yours.

Year ten. A bigger venue. An evening built around connection, celebration and giving back to the community we share as friends and neighbors.

Breast Intentions, a 501(c)(3), is hosting FREE Professional Bra Fitting Events for women and teens affected by the Spokane Complex Fires. Each participant will receive two free professionally fitted bras, and we carry an extensive size range from 28AAA through 58M, including maternity, nursing, and adaptive bras.

You don’t build community trust overnight. You earn it by showing up, again and again. 💗

Gerriann Armstrong was showing up for Spokane—and for Breast Intentions—long before she became our Executive Director.

This interview was filmed in May 2025 at a Breast Intentions fitting event in partnership with The Salvation Army, where Gerriann served as Program Manager of The Way Out Bridge Housing Center.

For five years, Gerriann helped lead an important part of Spokane’s response to homelessness. The Way Out helps adults work toward permanent housing by providing stability and access to services addressing barriers like employment, behavioral health, substance use and life skills. It’s comprehensive, hands-on work centered on helping people build a more stable future.

During those years, Gerriann wasn’t simply familiar with Breast Intentions—she worked alongside us. As a partner, she helped bring our services to women at The Way Out and understood the importance of local organizations working together to meet practical needs with dignity and care.

Today, Gerriann is our Executive Director and a recent graduate of Whitworth University’s Master of Business Leadership program. She brings years of direct service, program management and community leadership to a mission she already knew, valued and helped support.

We’re incredibly proud to have her leading our next chapter.

Our goal is for Breast Intentions to be woven into the fabric of Spokane—a trusted resource for women of all ages, an organization local agencies can count on, and a steady presence serving our community for generations to come.

That kind of trust is earned by showing up, doing the work and caring deeply about the people you serve.

Gerriann was doing that alongside us then. We’re so proud she’s leading us now. 💕
