Breast Intentions – Now Accepting Applications for Jan–June 2027

I wanted to share a quick update about how we’re scheduling Breast Intentions fitting events moving forward.

As our partnerships have grown (which is wonderful), it’s become harder to manage requests on a first‑come, first‑served basis. To make things fair, predictable, and easier for everyone, we’re shifting to a simple application process for each scheduling cycle.

We’re now accepting applications for January–June 2027.

If your agency would like to host a fitting event during that time, you can fill out the short application here:

The application helps us understand who you serve, what your needs look like, and how we can plan events that truly support your clients. It also helps us balance our calendar so we can reach as many programs across Spokane County as possible.

The application window for this cycle is open until July 1, 2026. We’ll follow up with decisions by August 31, 2026.

For years, Breast Intentions has been proud to participate in the Passages Self-Care Fair, connecting with women and families while providing a service that supports comfort, confidence, and dignity.

This year, we’re especially grateful to Better Health Together for making our participation possible through their sponsorship of this event.

Their support allows us to continue showing up in our community, providing professional bra fittings and helping ensure women have access to an essential item that is often overlooked but has a meaningful impact on daily life.

On Sunday, June 14, we’ll be joining the Woman’s Club of Spokane Summer Volunteer Fair alongside many incredible organizations working to make our community stronger.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to volunteer with Breast Intentions, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet our team in person, ask questions, hear stories from the field, and learn how your time and talents can make a meaningful difference for women throughout Spokane.

You’ll also have the chance to meet our Executive Director, Gerriann, whose years of experience in Spokane’s nonprofit and charitable giving community have helped guide the growth of our organization and expand our impact. She is an incredible resource for anyone interested in community service, nonprofit work, volunteer leadership, or finding meaningful ways to get involved locally.

I am so grateful for the team at First Interstate Bank on Francis. They recently spent time volunteering with us and took the opportunity to learn more about our mission and the women we serve. Their kindness and genuine interest meant a lot to our team.

After volunteering, they chose to support Bra-lloween with a generous gift of $2,500. This support helps us continue providing Professional Personalized Bra Fittings and 2 Brand-new Bras to each woman served.

Mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum.

It lives in the small things, too.

Feeling comfortable in your body.
Having clothing that fits.
Being treated with dignity.
Knowing someone cares enough to show up for you.

At Breast Intentions, we see every day how confidence, comfort, and connection can make a difference in a woman’s life.

A bra won’t solve every challenge someone is facing. But being welcomed into a room with kindness, being listened to, and leaving with something that helps you feel more comfortable in your own skin matters.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the power of community and the importance of caring for the whole person.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, partner, and supporter who helps make those moments possible. Together, we’re creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and valued.

Because every woman deserves to feel supported. 💜
