A 21-year-old mom introduced us to her baby and remembered walking into Teen & Kid Closet for the first time when she was 14. She shopped with us for four years. She’s never forgotten the way Teen & Kid Closet made her feel.

“I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me for all those years and now for helping my son. I always have the best experience when I walk in here. You guys are also so sweet, and just again, thanks for everything!”

Thanks to this amazing group of Junior League of Spokane members, Teen & Kid Closet is freshly restocked, clothes are sorted, and the store is perfect for all our shoppers!

These volunteers helped hang mountains of clothes donated to fire victims’ families. Then they made room for more donations as our community bands together to support one another. Their generosity and commitment help us continue to ensure that the most vulnerable in our community can shop with dignity for new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Patsy and Duane Keel carry their memories of five years in Spokane in their hearts. Now they’re reaching out from across the country to help rebuild after devastating wildfires.

"Spokane was my first home in the States," said Patsy. "We just fell in love with it and still have lots of friends there. It just broke my heart when we saw it going up in flames.”

Duane was in the military. And, while they’ve been gone for over two decades, they wanted to help in any way they could.

The two donated to Teen & Kid Closet so disadvantaged children can shop in dignity for new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. They are also donating to a local animal shelter. It’s the only way they know to bridge the thousands of miles between Florida and Spokane.

Thank you, Duane and Patsy, for remembering our community and sharing your love of it during this time when so many need your help.

Teen & Kid Closet is overwhelmed by our community’s generosity to make sure youth in need and those impacted by fire can rebuild their lives.

Spokane gym Farmgirlfit put out a call for help hours after fires tore through part of Spokane County.

“We were fortunate enough to receive a ton of donations from members and even outside of our farmgirl community,” said Farmgirlfit’s Hailey Davis.

Davis worked to bring carloads of donations to our Sprague store. She knows too well how much the fires cost members of their gym. Four members lost their homes. Flames forced others to evacuate with little more than a suitcase. It all happened on the first day of school, just around the corner.

“I already knew Farmgirl was a community to support and uplift, but I guess I didn't realize the difference we can make outside of our community," Davis explained. "I love this. This is what we are meant to do: to help each other. And we love that Teen & Kid Closet is working with kids and families to help them recover.”

Thank you, Farmgirlfit! You help make it possible for vulnerable children in the area to shop for new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories.

We’re overwhelmed by our community’s incredible generosity and commitment to helping neighbors rebuild in the wake of devastating wildfires.

16 Cents, 3 Shoes, & 5 Socks launched a Wildfire Relief Clothing Drive for Children, with all proceeds headed to Teen & Kid Closet.

We knew we could count on our friends, family, and neighbors to drop off new or gently used socks, underwear, shoes, pajamas, and hygiene kits at one of our four store locations. Others, including businesses like Mechanics Pride Tire & Automotive, donated $1,000.

What a difference you made! We had no idea how much you’d share. Our hearts are full.

Thank you for helping the most vulnerable in our community.

Set your calendars for Hat Trick Brewing’s Pig Out in the Park(ing) lot on August 15, 2026.

A portion of the proceeds is earmarked for Teen & Kid Closet.

We figured when you heard the menu, you’d beeline right there.

Pulled pork, pork belly, pickled everything, Mexican corn salad, and wait until you hear dessert - Espresso Salted Caramel Bacon Ice Cream!

Join us from 12 to 6 p.m. and help Teen & Kid Closet ensure kids and teens in need can shop for new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories.

We’re grateful for a group of young volunteers who caught the Teen & Kid Closet message thanks to board member Sarah d’Hulst.

This group of hard workers helped sort and display all the new donations we’ve received as we race to make a difference in young lives. This year’s need is great. Back-to-school is just around the corner, and not only is Teen & Kid Closet racing to help underserved kids, but it is also helping those devastated by the area’s fires.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers, we can continue to ensure that the most vulnerable in our community can shop with dignity for free new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Kid & Teen Closet is overwhelmed with gratitude as the community and area businesses, like Mechanics Pride Tire & Automotive, band together to help children impacted by the firestorm that swept through parts of Spokane County.
