Did you know your IBD diagnosis can actually change over time — and it doesn't mean your disease is getting worse?

In this Crohn's & Colitis Mythbusting video, Alan Moss, MD, the Foundation's Chief Scientific Officer, explains why some people are reclassified from Crohn's disease to ulcerative colitis, or vice versa, as more information becomes available.

The good news? Most treatments work for both conditions, so a change in diagnosis usually doesn't mean starting over.

Watch the video to learn more and stay tuned for more mythbusting episodes.
