Texas Exes - New York Chapter works primarily to provide scholarships to students from the greater New York Area who are attending the University of Texas at Austin. As part of our broader mission, we also support the Univeristy by assiting in recruiting New York area students, hosting the NYC Student Seminar for current students seeking internships and employment in NYC and connecting University alumni and supporters in the area. We support these goals with various fundraising events and campaigns throughout the year.

IT’S THE RED RIVER RIVALRY, BABY 🤘
(GAME-WATCH ACCESSIBLE ONLY WITH TICKET PURCHASE)
Arch-enemy szn has arrived • And it doesn’t get any bigger than the Texas-OU Red River Rivalry. Our yearly fundraising wristband game is back with all the excitement and energy of our biggest showdown every year.
Your wristband not only helps support our Chapter’s mission and fundraising to support our New York community, but also gets you all-you-can drink Texas bevs from kickoff to last play as well as one appetizer. All participating bars will require a wristband. But don’t wait. Like every year it WILL sell-out! Reservations will ONLY be honored with all parties having wristbands. Please contact the bar to make a reservation.
We thank you for your support for the past 100 years and we hope to make this one our best yet! All information/ticket links can be found on our website and at the link in bio. See you on October 10th! HOOK ‘EM

For the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, we ask you remember not only the Longhorns we lost but those that helped our City. We especially take a moment to honor the memory of:

🌹Richard Aronow, JD ‘78
🌹Peter Moutos, BBA ‘83
🌹Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas (and her Unborn Child), BS ‘86

In 2021, Texas Exes - NY Chapter dedicated a tree at the Austin Alumni Center. At the UTNY campus in Midtown, there is a plaque in remembrance of the Alumni lost. If you are in Austin or New York, you can pay tribute by visiting these.

To learn more about the stories of the alumni we lost as well as the 2021 Dedication by the Texas Exes New York Chapter, please visit the Alcalde link in the bio.

📣 Want to be a part of the gamewatch action?

For the upcoming football season, we’re looking for Longhorn alumni interested in getting more involved with our gamewatches across three partner bars.

You’ll help manage the merch table, ticket check-in, or other quick responsibilities.

Of course, we’re a volunteer-based organization, so this would be a volunteer position. But there’s some pretty cool perks 😉

If interested, sign up in the Google Sheets link in bio! 🤘

As always, biggest thank you to our partner bars:
Stout NYC
Horn's Hook Tavern
ParklifeBK
