SC Pet Haven Rescue

SC Pet Haven Rescue Pet haven is a non profit animal rescue our goal is to find dogs and cats a forever home. CALL ME AT (864)350-3735 FOR QUICK RESPONSES.

We adopt animals from the kill list at other local shelters and strays we find wandering the streets of our community. It is our mission to provide a safe haven for our community’s abused and abandoned cats and dogs, with the goal of rehabilitation and adoption into permanent loving homes. As a NO-KILL rescue, all animals brought into the shelter remain under the stewardship of Pet Haven of South Carolina, until they are adopted. We will only consider euthanasia when recommended by a veterinarian to relieve an animal’s suffering due to irreversible injury, illness or disease. We place approximately 185 animals per year. We encourage and promote spaying and neutering as the only effective approach to reducing the pet overpopulation problem. In compliance with state law and as a matter of principal, we spay and neuter all pets prior to adoption. Pet Haven of South Carolina provides lost and found services and educates the public on the proper care of animals through printed materials and educational activities. We pursue all reports of abuse, neglect or cruelty and cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation and prosecution of such cases. We support the efforts of South Carolina’s Law Enforcement agencies, Animal Control departments and Humane Society Chapters to provide fair treatment and care for all domestic animals in the State of South Carolina. To report an abused animal, please contact local Animal Control or us at:

Charles and his wife are asking for help for Nova, Kelly Seigle’s 8-year-old dog, who urgently needs veterinary care. Nova has two large tumors growing on her midsection, and she has a veterinary appointment this Thursday for blood work, x-rays, and medications. If the testing shows the tumors are not cancer, Nova will be able to move forward with surgery. She also still needs to be spayed and receive her shots. Nova’s family lives in Clemsonhill RV Park and has fallen on hard times, making it impossible to cover this care on their own.

Charles and his wife are doing everything they can to help Nova and her family, but they already manage $4,000 to $5,000 in monthly veterinary bills through scpethaven.org. This fundraiser will help cover Nova’s testing, x-rays, surgery, spay care, and vaccinations so she has the best chance at getting well and staying healthy. Please help Nova get the care she needs. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference for Nova and will also support a family that is struggling financially. If giving is not possible right now, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much.
