SCARY OUTREACH, VIOLENT ATTACK & ANSWERED PRAYER!
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.
And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
(Matthew 10:29-31)
20 + years ago, I quoted these verses to my wife after she saw me getting attacked by a gangster and surrounded by the gang in the War-Zone of N. Minneapolis Minnesota for Preaching the Gospel.
God really used His Word to strengthen her faith, her courage, and resolve to be faithful to our calling to Evangelize the
"Difficult To Reach People Groups" with Christ Satisfies Ministries.
Well, apparently, (In God's Providence) we needed some more trials and difficult situations in order to remind us of the dark spiritual forces we are fighting against and the faithfulness of our merciful Savior in answering prayer, humbling women, and protecting His Servants! (John 15:7-8; James 5:16)

Around 11pm, I finished the Prostitution Outreach.
I was blessed to share with about 12 working women on Thursday night. 6 Women gave me their names for prayer. Please pray specifically for Rose, Marilyn, Cathy, Tawanna, Britney, and JJ! JJ was crushed to tears the moment I mentioned Jesus' Name! My exact words were, "JESUS LOVES YOU. HE WANTS TO SAVE YOU!" This statement is based on -
"To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood."
(Revelation 1:5b)
JJ started sobbing uncontrollably and was powerfully overcome with grief because of her lifestyle!
I'm trusting this was the beginning of her conversion to Jesus Christ.
"Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death."
(2 Cor 7:10)
Her pimp suddenly pulled her away from my window.
I was blessed and honored to point her to the Only One who can truly love her as she needs!
A couple of minutes later as I was trying to clear my phone in an open area called the "Prayer Station" (See photo) in order to take some ministry pictures, a gangster walked up on me and stood about 5ft away from my window. I did not recognize him. I cracked the window, gave him a tract, and said, "Look to Christ!" He tried to distract me with some small talk so that his friend could circle around me to my passenger door. (Perhaps robbery or car-jacking?)
I told him that I had to move on, then his whole expression changed and he screamed at me. I put my window up and rolled my vehicle forward. In a rage he ran up and aggressively punched my window very hard, clearly trying to break it! I quickly armed myself and gently moved on, watching for both of them. They both backed off!!! Praise the LORD that He protected me from that wicked man! Please pray he will read the tract, repent and be saved.
Though a different context, the situation reminds me of this verse.
"He said to them, 'But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.'"
(Luke 22:36)
Scary situation, but, the Lord protected me.

Please pray for the ladies with whom we shared the Gospel, and the approximately 10 men I had the privilege of sharing with also, some were pimps.
This difficult outreach, by God's grace, reminds me of my "Missionary Life Verse!" (It's on the back of our Christ Satisfies Ministries shirts.) The quote is from Paul - "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me -- the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." (Acts 20:24).
