This is a rewarding and well coordinated effort! If you would like to help us help the kitties, please reach out to 864-430-1142 to pick a shift or two on one of the days:
7-10am - VIP Valet - review forms, tag traps and carry them into clinic
10:30am - 3pm - Pick-up Party Host - carry traps out to families when they come to pick up

🐾 500 CATS. 2 DAYS. 1 BIG IMPACT. 🐾

We’re teaming up with Greenville County Animal Care and our regional partners once again to help even more outdoor cats across the Upstate! On Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, we’ll be hosting a FREE, high-capacity Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) event with a goal of providing 500 spay/neuter surgeries for outdoor community cats. 💚

If you care for outdoor cats in your neighborhood, this event is for you! TNR is one of the most effective ways to help community cats by preventing unwanted litters, reducing the number of cats entering shelters, and creating healthier, more stable outdoor cat colonies.

Getting involved is simple: humanely trap outdoor/feral cats using a feral cat trap, then bring them to one of our event locations on September 18 or 19. No appointment is necessary! Each person may bring up to four cats, and cats must arrive in feral traps - not pet carriers. This event is specifically for outdoor/feral community cats, not owned or indoor cats.

Every cat will receive a FREE spay/neuter surgery, three-year rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, and an ear-tip to identify them as already altered. After surgery and recovery, cats will be returned to their trappers so they can go back to the outdoor homes they know and love.

Wookie!!!
Vouchers are purchased 24 hours a day through our easy online system. I get each emailed to me and even though very few people attach photos, the first thing I do is see if a photo is attached.
Of course, with a name like Wookie, I was hoping for a photo. Thankfully, Wookie’s dad took the time to send HER photo! Yes, a female ginger!
Thanks to all who do the great work and purchase SFA vouchers for pitties and friendly and feral kitties.

“We found her in a carrier with a note attached saying free to a good home on the of the Dollar General in our area. She looked around 8 weeks old. She was left, no food or water. She is the sweetest, most talkative baby.”

There are heroes among us. So grateful for her kind family who took her in and got a Fix-a-Feline voucher!
