Tony Robles is a poet, author, and community activist known as “The People’s Poet.” He authored Cool Don’t Live Here No More-A letter to San Francisco and Fingerprints of a Hunger Strike. His latest is, Soup For The Storm, poems of hurricane Helene. Tony served as a Carl Sandburg Historic Site Writer-in-Residence. Now residing in Hendersonville, North Carolina, his work captures authentic human stories, displacement, and social justice.
