Halloween looked a little different at every REC site! 🎃 From pumpkin hockey with pool noodles, to mummy runs, pumpkin relay races, mummy hot dogs, and even bike rides in costume, there was plenty of fun to go around.

Our Rocky Mountain staff dressed up with a different theme each day, bringing Shrek characters, Minions, the Lorax, and more to afterschool programming. 👻

Thank you to our staff at every site for making Halloween week so special for our students. Here are a few fun moments from last week!

Today, we’re joining afterschool programs across the country to celebrate all that’s possible after school!💡

At REC, that can look like elementary students figuring out Snap Circuits, middle school families solving a mystery together, or high school students enjoying a glow party. Each is a chance to learn something new and connect with others along the way.

Lights On Afterschool celebrates the many ways afterschool programs support students and bring communities together. Every student should get to be part of moments like these, and every family should have an afterschool program they can count on.💙

Now is the perfect time to get your estate plan in order and consider the legacy you want to leave for loved ones and the causes that matter to you.

Here are a few steps you can take to get started:
- Make an inventory of your assets to better understand your financial picture and estimate your net worth.
- Consider priorities and intentions for family, charitable goals and special assets to ensure everything has a place.
- Meet with an estate planning attorney to complete documents and address any additional details.

Taking the time to create an estate plan today can help you feel more confident that your wishes will be honored in the future.

“I know I won’t have to figure it out by myself.”🌟 From homework and snacks after school to friendships, college visits, and big dreams, there’s so much ahead for REC students.

“Looking Forward: My REC Journey” shares a little of that through a student’s eyes and reminds us how much it means to have people in your corner. To everyone who supports REC, thank you for being in our students’ corner. You help them try new things, grow, and feel excited about what comes next.

Take a look at the journey you help make possible! 🎬
