🌊 Making a splash this summer! Paddleboarding was a highlight of REC’s summer programming, with students across elementary, middle, and high school spending time on the water, building confidence, and making memories together.

One of our favorite experiences was seeing our high school students step into leadership roles as they helped elementary students during paddleboarding at Las Colonias. It was a wonderful opportunity for younger students to learn from older peers while our high schoolers grew as mentors and leaders.

Our middle school students also enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Highline Lake, where they challenged themselves, encouraged one another, and soaked up a beautiful Colorado summer.

Summer programming may have wrapped up, but we still have so many memories to share. ☀️ Stay tuned for more photos and highlights from REC’s summer adventures!

Twenty years of memories, all in one room.📸

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 20th Anniversary Open House such a special evening. It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new ones, and celebrate the people and moments that have made REC what it is today.

A special thank you to the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce for celebrating this milestone with us and leading our ribbon cutting.

We loved celebrating with you and can't wait to continue sharing memories from the evening.✨

A special thank you to Touch of Sweetness By Jazzy for the beautiful cupcakes and Nibbles and Sips for the delicious grazing table!

For 20 years, REC has been part of countless memories and meaningful moments.

This video looks back through the stories of just a few of the people who have been part of REC, sharing how they first found their way here, the memories that stayed with them, and what REC has meant in their lives.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey over the past two decades.

Last call for coffee before the month ends! ☕️

We’re so grateful to Timberline Bank for featuring REC as June’s nonprofit of the month through the Timberline Community Coffee Bar. There’s still time to stop by, grab a cup, and support REC students and families before June wraps up.

Thank you to everyone who has already stopped by and shown support!
