Let's Go Birding! Physically Accessible Bird Excursion
Time: 7:30 - 9:00 AM
Location: Grand Valley Audubon Society Preserve, 610 D**e Rd
Birders of every level and physical ability are invited to enjoy the common resident and migratory birds of the Audubon Preserve's riparian environment! Join us for a physically accessible bird walk welcoming the whole Grand Valley birding community. Binoculars provided. Meet at the Audubon Preserve parking area.
World Migratory Bird Day Tabling Event
Time: 10:30 - 12:30 PM
Location: Saddlehorn Visitor Center back porch
Enjoy bird mask crafts, orange peel bird feeder construction, guess who games, and World Migratory Bird Day collectibles as you learn about local, low-effort citizen science initiatives to assist migratory bird conservation!
Up Close & Personal
Time: 1:30 - 3:00 PM
Location: Saddlehorn Visitor Center exhibit hall
Meet a bird ranger to discover more about Colorado National Monument's resident bird species! Stop by anytime from 1:30 to 3:00; this program is great for all ages.
