Lusmerlin wishes FAC a Happy Birthday before giving us a closer look at the inspiration and meaning behind the Black-Eyed Susan public art project, created to celebrate FAC’s 50th anniversary. Ten flowers represent each year of the arts council adding up to a total of 500 beautiful sculptures! 🌻

Representing hope, resilience, healing, and growth, these sculptures celebrate five decades of the arts in Frederick and the creativity and community we have built.
