Memories of the Emerald Isle: Here's Ireland through the eyes of Brian Anderson and his travels across the country in 2008.

📸Blarney Castle:
"Struck up a delightful conversation with this chap from Canada (on the right) while waiting in line to kiss the Blarney stone. Evidently neither of us needed the powers offered by said stone - but we both kissed it anyway!"
📸Kylemore Abbey:
"Somehow Cromwell spared this. We stayed there one night - amazing place!"
📸Gardens at Kylemore:
"One of the many lovely lasses of Ireland! Oh wait - that's not just any lovely lassie! That's my own true love, Leeann Rock!!!!"
📸Ruins of Roscommon Castle:
"One of the many castles destroyed during Oliver Cromwell's invasion of Ireland."
📸View of the Ring of Kerry:
"The southern coastal scenery - does right by Ireland's nickname - the emerald isle."
📸Cliffs of Mohr:
"There was a walking path along the top of the cliffs with no railing!"

Memories of the Emerald Isle: St. Finbarr is the patron saint of Cork. The shrine dates to the 6th century. "The mountains were his cloister and the lake was for him the mirror of God's grandeur." A beautiful and peaceful spot.

Memories of the Emerald Isle: "Several years ago, my wife and I visited Ireland and fell in love with its stunning beauty, ancient history, and incredible contemporary folk music. Now, things are coming full circle! We are excited that The Frederick Chorale is officially touring and performing live concerts across Ireland!

Music can be found everywhere in Ireland. This is a throwback to an incredible moment inside the legendary Siopa Ceoil in Di**le! We watched these brilliant musicians fill the room with pure magic of Irish contemporary folk music

The awe-inspiring beauty of the Emerald Isle lies in the perfect harmony of its elements—where rugged stone meets rolling green hills and the untamed power of the Atlantic Ocean. This striking landscape highlights the legendary, mythic spirit that makes the island so unforgettable"

Memories of the Emerald Isle: "My first trip to Ireland was exactly 4 years before our upcoming tour with the Frederick Chorale. I was in awe of the breath-taking landscapes along the coasts. There is such rich history and natural beauty across the country. I can’t wait to experience Ireland with my FC friends and my family!"

When the weather and the music your rehearsing align ✨.

As the rain hides the stars,
as the autumn mist hides the hills,
as the clouds veil the blue of the sky,
so the dark happenings of my lot
hide the shining of your face from me.
Yet, if I may hold your hand in the darkness,
it is enough, since I know that,
though I may stumble in my going,
you do not fall.

(Gaelic prayer, anon.)
