Friends of the Child Advocacy Center There is no need to suffer silently when a child has been abused and/or neglected. Help is available NOW.

We are a non profit organization comprised of volunteers whose purpose is to increase awareness of child abuse and to support the mission of the Child Advocacy Center, (CAC) a caring place, and a listening place that offers hope to victims and their non offending family members.

DSS holds an annual foster parent appreciation dinner and they provide childcare. The Friends funded yoga activities. Bonnie engaged the kids (and adults) in fun, active, yoga inspired games. Everyone had a great time!

A child who comes to a CAC doesn't just get an interview — they get a multidisciplinary team in their corner. Advocates, counselors, medical staff, and prosecutors, all focused on one thing: the child's well-being.

These are the real words of a kid served by a Children's Advocacy Center (CAC). Through our Youth Feedback Survey, we're hearing about kids' experiences. CACs listen to children, help them process what's happened to them, and build a foundation for life after abuse so they can go back to being kids.
