Some people talk about making a difference. Others roll up their sleeves, step outside their comfort zone, and do something extraordinary.

Yesterday, our very own club secretary, Sue, did just that.

In support of One Mission and their incredible work helping children battling cancer, Sue bravely shaved her head as part of a fundraising effort. She set an ambitious goal of raising $7,500 and, thanks to the generosity of so many supporters, she achieved it!

While this was not a Lions fundraiser, it perfectly embodies the spirit of Lionism and what service is truly all about—putting the needs of others before our own, leading with compassion, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Sue's selfless act is a powerful reminder that kindness comes in many forms. Sometimes it's volunteering your time. Sometimes it's lending a helping hand. And sometimes it's giving up your hair to bring hope, awareness, and support to children and families facing unimaginable challenges.

We are incredibly proud to call Sue one of our own. Her courage, generosity, and dedication to helping others inspire us all.

Congratulations, Sue, on reaching your goal and making a difference that will be felt far beyond yesterday. ❤️

🦁 A Special Evening of Service, Unity, and Growth

We were honored to welcome District Governor Elect Jesse Armell to our club for a wonderful evening celebrating what it means to be a Lion.

One of the highlights of the night was the induction of our two newest members, Kristen and LeeAnn. Their commitment to serving others and making a positive impact in our community reflects the very heart of Lionism.

As Lions, we come from different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life, but we are united by a common purpose: serving our communities and helping those in need. The strength of our organization comes from acceptance, inclusion, and the understanding that every person has something valuable to contribute.

Each act of service, no matter how big or small, has the power to make a difference in someone’s life. By welcoming new members and embracing the unique gifts they bring, we continue to build stronger clubs, stronger communities, and a brighter future for those we serve.

Congratulations to Kristen and LeeAnn, and thank you to DG Elect Jesse Armell for joining us and helping welcome these outstanding new Lions into our family.

💙💛 Together We Serve. Together We Grow. Together We Make a Difference. 💛💙

So many people came by to snap pictures in the doggie Photo Booth! Whether wearing a fun prop or not, these dogs were such a big hit and made a lot of people smile!
If you came to see us today and you see your photo, say Hi 👋 in the comments!

Thank you to all our club members for coming out on this beautiful day and making the day as great as it was! Our dogs are rock star pups and so aren’t their handlers!

Today was a special day for the Cape Cod Paws of Comfort as we made our very first visit to the wonderful residents at Cape Regency Rehab Center in Centerville! 🐾❤️

Comfort dog Miss Noelle and mom Deb, comfort dog Arlo and mom Kristen, and comfort dog Mr. Gibbs with mom Mandy and Jace spent the early afternoon walking all 3 floors, stopping into many rooms to spread smiles, comfort, and a little extra love.

From wagging tails to warm conversations, the joy on so many faces reminded us exactly why these visits are so meaningful. Whether it was a gentle pet, a shared memory about a beloved family dog, or simply a quiet moment of companionship, our pups brought happiness everywhere they went.

Thank you to Cape Regency for welcoming us so warmly. We are already looking forward to our next visit! 🐶💙

Our very own secretary Sue Caffrey is raising money to shave her head. She’s got a healthy goal of $7,500 and every little bit helps. If you would like to support this amazing cause, there are 3 ways to donate.
