The CCSS hosts nationally recognized experts, inspiring thought leaders and prominent personalities to address challenging issues, share entertaining topics and stimulate conversation. Speakers offer their perspectives on a range of subjects from global affairs to the media, the environment, politics, history, science, the arts and culture. Through these programs we strive to build understanding and respect for differing points of view and experiences in our community.

More than 450 guests joined us for the inaugural David R. Gergen Address, featuring David Rubenstein in a thoughtful conversation on history, leadership, and the enduring relevance of the Declaration of Independence as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary.

Moderated by Former Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, the evening sparked meaningful discussion, insightful audience questions, and a shared appreciation for the ideas that continue to shape our democracy.
