The Sturgis Library is full of history - It is the oldest library building in the nation, and once had famed author and Barnstable resident Kurt Vonnegut on their Board of Directors!

We never know which dogs will come to Doxie Day, so if you’re looking, we always recommend making that connection now. We just love to play match-maker, and see these sweet pups return to Doxie Day as happy, loved rescue alumni!
