Ahhh the irony with the storm coming that Doxie Day is raising funds for CCDART this year. Cape Cod DART is there for people and their pets throughout Barnstable County in times of weather emergencies to be sure that no pet is left behind.

All have amazing doxie creations, unique finds, and handcrafted items all ready for you. Unfortunately the upcoming storm had other plans for us, and we will not be able to host our vendors. We’ve asked them to post photos in the comments below, so you can see what’s available and how to purchase directly through them. Just like our determined dachshunds trying to get that treat or toy that’s just out of reach under the couch, we have tried everything to get our Doxie Day celebration to happen. So much thought goes into this event, but the wind and rain predictions for Cape Cod on Saturday make an outdoor event impossible. We know many of you have made plans to join us, and are traveling from far and wide. We love all of our doxie friends and families, and while not our usual festival, we have a plan…
