As technology advances, we're more susceptible to fraud.

This Friday, we're excited to partner with Cape Cod 5 on an important topic: emerging trends in banking technology, cybersecurity, and AI and how financial institutions are adapting to digital threats to support their customers.

To register for our June First Friday which will be held at Cape Cod 5's headquarters in Hyannis, visit https://cctechcouncil.org/event/first-friday-cybersecurity-in-banking-cape-cod-five/

Fraud Prevention Tip: Did you receive an email from your “CEO” requesting an urgent wire transfer? These messages look like they’re from a trusted sender to trick victims into transferring money or revealing sensitive information.

🚩 Recognize the red flags such as urgent requests, unfamiliar bank details or slightly altered email addresses. And always verify any payment requests in person or by phone to make sure it is legitimate.
