The Plan2Peak 2 Days of Buffalo Stage Race
Recap Day 1, Part 2: The Kanberra Criterium

We lined up for the criterium after some intense snacking, ready to defend GC positions established in the morning’s TT. Tight and challenging corners on a brand new course meant the team had to ride strong — and that we did!

Marlaina made the early move to get off the front, with Alison and Aderyn working the peloton, then choreographing the last lap perfectly to secure the field sprint win behind (and a couple of primes for good measure).

Our combined efforts earned 3rd in the crit and defended 2nd and 4th in GC with one more stage to go!

The Plan2Peak 2 Days of Buffalo Stage Race
Recap Part 1: The Niagara Time Trial

The team kicked off 3 stages of racing with solid performances all around. 7mi of full gas racing in the beautiful town of Wilson did not disappoint. Marlaina secured 2nd, Alison in 4th, and Aderyn Fraser in 7th.

Not to spoil the surprise but that WAS NOT the only The Original Tea Tree Odor Eliminator we won this weekend! More to come

A BIG moment of appreciation and applause for Alison who earned a fifth place podium spot at master nationals last month. Not only does she crush it in races but she does so much to help out everyone on the team. You’re the best Alison!

Also a shout out to one of Orion’s founding members, Abby Krawczyk, for the podium spot too!

might have been sidelined from racing, but we got creative, because no teammate is left behind when there’s fro-yo on the line!

Sara made the most of a last-minute change in travel plans this weekend, jumping into the Red R crit in PDX and landing on the top step. Everyone is chasing that crit mojo ahead of some big late-season team events!
