We loved being part of Jack Johnson’s All At Once Village Green this weekend during the SURFILMUSIC Tour! It was a great opportunity to connect with our community, meet fellow changemakers, and share the Common Threads mission to empower kids and families with the skills and confidence to make healthy choices through cooking and nutrition education.

We’re grateful to Jack Johnson and All At Once for bringing together music, community, and organizations working to create positive change.

What a night in Chicago - flashback to this past weekend!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Common Threads booth during Jack Johnson's All At Once tour stop at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island.

It was inspiring to connect with concertgoers, share our mission, and celebrate the power of community, music, and healthy living. From meaningful conversations to new connections, the evening was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose.

If you didn't have a chance to visit us at the show, there's still time to make an impact. Donations made will be matched dollar for dollar by the Johnson Ohana Foundation, helping us bring hands-on cooking, nutrition education, and healthy food resources to even more children and families nationwide.

Curiosity is always on the menu at the Austin Public Library!

Through our Ask A Chef program, families are discovering how simple ingredients, practical cooking skills, and nutrition knowledge can build confidence both in and out of the kitchen.

We're proud to partner with the Austin Public Library to create hands-on learning experiences that inspire healthy habits for life.

Together, we're helping families turn their summer into a healthy adventure, and fun recipes into lifelong healthy choices.

Recently, Heal Los Angeles Foundation celebrated the end of another amazing program, and we couldn’t be more inspired by these young chefs and their families. We’re proud to continue our partnership with Heal LA for more than 8 years and counting! 💙

Each year, we host two virtual cooking class series, being 10 classes in English and 10 in Spanish, where students cook live alongside our chef instructors with support from their families at home. This year, our chef instructor, Chef Ocean, led the program guiding students through hands-on cooking experiences that brought families together through food, learning, and connection.

Thank you to Prince Jackson, and everyone who continues to make this partnership so meaningful year after year!
