We’re working for a better Texas: where every person is trusted, thriving, and free to pursue the life they want. Here in Texas, we face anti-abortion government and extremist policies at every level. These policies are rooted in patriarchy and white supremacy, and are backed by national anti-choice groups who don’t represent Texas values. It’s up to us to stop those policies here in Texas, before

they are exported to other states across the country. When we fight and win here, the impact is enormous -- a galvanizing victory for abortion rights and the larger fight for justice and equity across the nation. For this movement to be successful, we must fight and lead boldly. Through our unapologetic, abortion-forward mindset, we will change the culture around reproductive rights by:

- Centering the conversation around lived experiences and diverse voices within Texas communities
- Shifting the culture to redefine abortion as normal, life-affirming healthcare
- Providing education that resists stigmas and creates progressive consensus
- Bringing Texans together to build a sense of community for everyone who needs access to abortion and other forms of reproductive healthcare
- Holding our government accountable at every level

Texas can be a place where people are trusted and free to pursue the life they want to live. Together, we’ll build a diverse community of abortion rights champions -- and transform Texas into a beacon of reproductive freedom.

Today, Texas abortion funds are headed to Court!

We’re in solidarity with them as they seek concrete confirmation that helping Texans get the legal abortion care we deserve will remain protected.

Regardless of who will hold the seats of power in November, we vow to hold elected officials accountable to Texans. Not billionaire donors. Not right or left. Not red or blue.

We deserve access to compassionate and high-quality prenatal care, providers who listen and act without fear of prosecution, a state that trusts us to make our own decisions about our bodies and our futures, and a system that values our lives.

City budgets reflect our shared values, and communities across Texas are fighting tooth and nail to provide collective care. In Austin, we're celebrating significant wins to restore 4.7 million dollars to social services, invest in housing and family shelters, and ensure that people in crisis receive the right response the first time when 911 is called. In San Antonio, we're taking to the phones to expand and protect access to vital reproductive healthcare through HIV and STI testing, pregnancy support, doula care, reproductive health education, and case management through the Reproductive Justice Fund! When abortion is banned, we lose our choice of when and if to become pregnant, and pregnancy becomes less safe for everyone — especially Black birth givers, who are three times more likely to die during pregnancy in states with abortion bans, including Texas.

Voting is one tactic in our movement’s toolbox to transform Texas into a place where every person has the things they need in order to thrive. When we cast our ballot, we cast a claim on our futures. Take the pledge to show up for yourself, your neighbors, and for all Texans who have had or will someday need abortion access.

"I pledge to use my vote as my declaration that I believe in Reproductive Justice-centered governance. This November, I will show up not as a single voter, but as part of a movement of Texans who affirm that every person deserves to be trusted, thriving, and free to pursue the life that they want."

Take the pledge and we'll keep up to date with resources to make your voice heard.

Reproductive justice teaches us that the right to have children, the right not to have children, and the right to parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities are inseparable.
