📢📢 LESSON SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

The AFS is proud to sponsor a private lesson scholarship program for the 2026-2027 school year. This scholarship enables interested and deserving students in the area to receive free private lessons with one of our organization’s flute instructors from August 2026 to May 2027. Additional 1/2 scholarships MAY be awarded at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. We have been able to award this scholarship to 3 students over the past three school years! If you know of a student who deserves but private lessons but has found it inaccessible, please recommend they apply for this program. Visit austinflutesociety.org/blank or click link in bio for all rules, requirements and the application itself.

Spread the word to your students!!

We at the Austin Flute Society are still flying high from this weekend's flute festival! The presence of our guest artist, Dr. Jennifer Grim, was truly inspiring. Dr. Grim, we thank you for your poise, grace, incredible musicianship and your courage in all you do. We appreciate all that you are in the flute world and the world at large.

We also thank Aiven and Wm. S. Haynes Co. for helping to sponsor Dr. Grim's visit with us and being a vendor during our festival.

Don’t be a stranger, come on by and see us again!
