For many students, the first time they touch a computer happens in a Caring for Cambodia classroom. But what starts as access can grow into confidence, creativity, and future opportunity.

Through our Digital Innovation Lab & ICT Program, students are building real-world skills in graphic design, advanced office tools, AI learning, and digital technology that prepare them for the future ahead. Recently, students have been learning to use AI tools alongside Microsoft Excel systems and designing creative projects like skincare campaign posters as part of their advanced training.

This work is about more than technology. It’s about giving students the tools, confidence, and opportunity to shape their own future.

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”

It’s a simple question, but the answers carry so much hope.

Teacher. Doctor. Lawyer. Leader.

As our students shared their dreams, you could hear the confidence growing in their voices and see the possibilities beginning to take shape. Every classroom lesson, every opportunity, and every person who believes in them helps move those dreams one step closer to reality.

At Caring for Cambodia, education is about more than academics. It’s about helping children discover who they are, what they’re capable of, and the future they can build for themselves.

The future is already speaking — and it is full of hope.

Clean water changes everything, but what many people don’t see is the care it takes to keep that water flowing day after day.

Across our schools, routine maintenance and preventative repairs on our water filtration systems are an essential part of this work. Our teams also conduct regular water testing to ensure students and families continue to have access to clean, safe drinking water every single day.

Because providing fresh water isn’t just about installing a system. It’s about showing up consistently to protect the health, dignity, and wellbeing of the children and communities we serve.

This work directly supports our Health & Wellness program and helps create stronger, healthier futures for thousands of students across Cambodia.

Keeping children safe starts with more than what happens in the classroom. It happens when parents, caregivers, teachers, and communities come together to learn, grow, and support one another.

Recently, our pre-school assistant coordinators welcomed 176 parents and children from the community for an orientation focused on how to better protect, encourage, and care for children as they grow. These moments may seem simple, but they create stronger families, safer childhoods, and brighter futures.

At Caring for Cambodia, we believe education works best when entire communities are part of the journey.

Our Feed My Starving Children (fmsc_org) shipment has officially hit the water...

35 pallets carrying 1,260 boxes of MannaPack meals are now making their way to Cambodia, over 41,000 pounds of nourishment, care, and hope for the children we serve.

These shipments are about so much more than food. They help fuel learning, strengthen communities, and remind our students that they are deeply supported by people around the world who believe in their future.

Thank you for helping us move hope across oceans.

🧡 SEW Orange Spotlight

Creativity becomes even more powerful when it carries culture, story, and purpose.

Through SEW Orange, Fiorenza Nguyen designed pieces inspired by both the Vietnamese Áo Dài and the Chinese Qi-Pao thoughtfully honoring her heritage while exploring the growing influence of cultural fusion in fashion.

The tops were created as part of a research project, while the pink look was designed for her fashion show presentation.

What makes this work so meaningful is not just the artistry but the intention behind it.

At Caring for Cambodia, we believe education and creativity open doors for young people to express identity, confidence, and possibility. SEW Orange continues to celebrate the idea that fashion can do more than inspire style it can spark conversation, connection, and impact.

🧡 Thank you, Fiorenza, for sharing your talent and vision with our community.

Today we join Cambodia in honoring the birthday of King Norodom Sihamoni, a moment of national reflection and respect.

Across the country, this day is marked with gratitude and recognition of leadership, unity, and the shared hope for Cambodia’s future. At Caring for Cambodia, we are reminded of why that future matters so deeply: investing in education so students can learn, grow, and build what comes next.

On days like this, we pause with appreciation for the opportunity to serve children and communities across Cambodia.

Some days, the cafeteria prep looks like this: our students carrying rice into the space where it will become their meal, moving together as part of the rhythm of the school day.

Through Caring for Cambodia’s Food for Thought program, we’re able to provide consistent meals that support student learning, focus, and well-being.

These moments may seem simple, but they reflect something much bigger with children participating in their own nourishment, and learning through everyday responsibility and care.

Today, we are celebrating mothers in every form.

The mothers in Cambodia who wake before the sun to prepare meals, walk children to school, work long days, and still carry endless hope for their families.

The mothers on our American team who lead with compassion, balance work and family, and pour their hearts into creating opportunities for others.

The women who are preparing to become mothers. The grandmothers raising the next generation. The mentors, caregivers, teachers, and mother figures who show up every single day with strength, sacrifice, and love.

At Caring for Cambodia, we see firsthand how powerful a mother’s hope can be. Behind so many student success stories is a woman who kept going even when life was difficult. A woman who believed education could create a different future for her child.

Today, we honor the resilience, tenderness, leadership, and quiet courage of mothers everywhere.

And to every mother in our community—thank you. Your love reaches so much farther than you may know.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Caring for Cambodia. 🧡
