Technology is opening new doors for students and teachers across our campuses!

Our ICT and APNIC teams have been busy completing Graphic Design, Advanced Office, AI, and Digital Literacy courses, while continuing to strengthen curriculum, train teachers and volunteers, and prepare for upcoming classes.

From supporting university scholarship applications to developing STEM lessons for Grades 7–12, this work is helping students build practical digital skills they can carry into their education and future careers.

A familiar face is returning to the Gala of Hope this year! 🧡🇰🇭

We’re so excited to welcome back beloved Cambodian cook Sovanna Chan, along with her daughter-in-law Sophia, for another special evening supporting Caring for Cambodia.

Sovanna describes herself simply as a Cambodian mom sharing the family recipes she loves, and it’s that same heart, generosity, and connection to Cambodia that she brings to our CFC community.

As Sovanna shared:
“Sometimes a little support can make a life-changing difference. Being able to contribute to their education is my way of giving back to Cambodia and helping the next generation have opportunities that can change the course of their lives.”

We’re so grateful to welcome Sovanna and Sophia back to the Gala of Hope!

We’re honored to share that CFC has officially been selected as one of four charities featured in AVPN’s Impact Spotlight Showcase: Voices of Impact.

Two of our Singapore team members recently represented Caring for Cambodia at the AVPN conference, sharing our mission and the impact of our work alongside an incredible community committed to creating meaningful change.

Being recognized in this way is a wonderful milestone for CFC and a reflection of the students, educators, staff, supporters, and communities who continue to move our mission forward every day.

What doors can open when a child has the opportunity to speak more than one language?

Language is more than words. It’s a way to connect with new people, access new ideas, and discover opportunities beyond what we already know.

Recently, our ESL team worked alongside teachers to strengthen their confidence using English in the classroom through conversation, games, and collaborative learning. As our teachers grow their skills, they’re able to pass that knowledge on to their students.

That’s the power of education: give a teacher another tool, and they can place it in the hands of generations to come.

Have you ever thought about how many lives one teacher can impact?

Our team recently completed a new classroom setup while 20 teachers participated in training designed to strengthen the learning environment for their students.

With your help, we’re able to provide teachers with the training, tools, and resources they need to educate and protect future generations of Cambodian children.

Because when we invest in one teacher, we aren’t only investing in the students sitting in their classroom today. We’re investing in every student they will teach tomorrow.
