Hello Friends of the CavLounge,

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, whether through donations or much needed items. We truly appreciate it.

As we head into the end of the school year, we are no longer able to accept additional donations, including clothing. Our volunteers are focused on preparing to close for the summer.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to reopening donations in August.

Prom is just around the corner. If your student needs Prom wear, the CavLounge Prom Shop is open today during all three lunches.

We have it all. Dresses, suits, shoes and accessories—all for free.

Students need to bring their badge, a pass from a teacher and then they can come shopping!

Our Prom Shop is Open!!

We’ll be open Monday and Wednesday this week during normal lunch periods.

There are dresses, tuxedos and suits available for free. Thrifting is fun!!

If we need any specific donations, we will post separately.

Gatsby's, located inside the Galleria in the City of Bee Cave, has helped many of you look your best, and for years they have ensured our students feel their best in new, high-quality items. We are deeply grateful for their generosity.

We highly recommend listening to Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null as he transparently shares updates about our district, graduation location, the status of high school #2 - the chance for us to have input on the school name and colors, a new student recognition program, and answers to community questions.

Appreciate his leadership and vision, along with the dedication of our teachers, administrators, and staff who do the heavy lifting behind the scenes.

Happy Holidays to our wonderful Lake Travis community! As we are gearing up for the end of the year we have a special project and we need your help! The last day of class before winter break, we will be hosting a “Stocking Bar” where students will be able to get a stocking and fill it with items of their choice. Just a little something to make them feel special! I have attached an Amazon wish list for the items we will need for this event. Let’s help brighten up the holidays for our students! If you have a student at Lakeway Elementary School they likely participated in Raise Craze: Launch Kindness. One of the missions: “Operation Donation Station” - students were asked to donate essential supplies that support other students in their community. Well the CavLounge was in need and they filled a gap. Thank you!
For those of you who don’t know about the CavLounge at the high school - it is a place for any student who finds themselves in need of a free lunch, clothing, school supplies, prom or homecoming attire, personal care items and/or a quiet place to have lunch — we are here!
