Kol Halev (Voice of the Heart) is a small, progressive, independent community of free thinkers, seekers, and folks who love being Jewish--whether it's been a lifelong celebration or a more recent discovery. We are led by Rabbi Lev Baesh and receive cantorial support from Cantor Robbi Sherwin and Amy Adler. We meet twice a month for Friday night services or Shabbat dinners that are upbeat, inspirational, provocative, and enlightening. We gather for most holidays and for regular social events and learning opportunities throughout the year. So is good food and a good hike in the Austin outdoors. Our engagement with prayer and Torah is open, creative, interactive, and relevant. We are a welcoming space for all those wishing to grow in their Jewish identities and be accepted for who they are.
