Kalvin Peterson — YMBL’s May 2026 Man of the Month! ☀️

This month, we’re recognizing the leadership and can-do attitude Kalvin brings to YMBL. In his first year, he raised $3,000 through individual fundraising efforts for Austin Sunshine Camps. He’s continued to show up and give back, supporting in so many ways this weekend’s — an event that’s been months in the making.

Meet Nathan Broad — April’s Young Men’s Business League of Austin (YMBL) Member of the Month and Co-Chair of this year’s Austin Sunshine Run.

Since joining YMBL in 2021, Nathan has been a consistent leader — showing up to volunteer, support (ASC), and invest in the communities that make this work possible.

This year, he’s “running” the Sunshine Run team — working alongside his co-chair , ASC staff, and YMBL committee volunteers before, during, and after work.

With race day less than a month away, we’re in the final stretch…and it takes leaders like Nathan to get us there. Thanks !! ☀️🏃‍♂️

January Member of the Month: Steven Santoyo 👨🏻‍🏫🎉

Steven has generously volunteered his time as Chair of Social Media, a role that had been vacant at YMBL for several years, and has significantly strengthened our presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. In his first year with YMBL, Steven volunteered to support day-of logistics for the Sporting Clays Fundraiser and the Austin Under 40 Awards. This year, he is also leading social media efforts to help promote the Austin Sunshine Run in May. Working closely with YMBL leadership, he helps promote events throughout the year and plays a key role in connecting and amplifying our work. Thank you for all you do, Steven!

TWO MONTHS since The 2025 YMBL Golf Classic. ⛳️

The day featured a full 18-hole round, on-course games and giveaways, and multiple prize opportunities throughout. The afternoon concluded with an awards ceremony and cookout, giving players time to wrap up the round, catch up, and close out the tournament together.

As the year wraps up, we’re looking back at September’s YMBL Sporting Clays Fundraiser in Georgetown, TX.

This annual event brought together great people, great competition, and an even greater cause. Huge thanks to our event, food, all our sponsors, our dedicated YMBL committee, and co-chairs Danny Bushland and Christopher Bitter for bringing it all to life.

Special thanks to event-day photographers Martha Dolliver and YMBL’s Clement Wan for capturing the day — and to YMBL member, Luke Rizzo, for another year of incredible Austin Heli Tours participation. We hope to see everyone out there at next year’s event!
