🩺 Healthcare Pathway (CNA Program): Healthcare is the top industry in Pickens County. To help students step directly into the workforce, the district is launching a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. We were so proud to announce Crawford County Middle High School as a 2026 IEF grant winner! 🎉

Because of the PEACH Education Tax Credit, this incredible school received a $25,000 grant to fund an initiative that is making a massive difference for its students!

🚀 Right now, they are transforming a standard classroom into a high-tech hub for the Cadet STEM Innovation Lab! This program will integrate JROTC leadership with hands-on robotics, aerospace, and manufacturing training, building a sustainable pipeline of STEM skills, certifications, and mentorship for over 50 cadets annually.

Cherokee County Schools is raising funds through the PEACH Education Tax Credit to create incredible, hands-on learning experiences for its students! The money they raise through PEACH will fund three major initiatives making a difference across the district:

🌱 Outdoor Classroom Gardens: PEACH funds will help maintain gardens at 24 elementary schools year-round! This initiative supports farm-to-table learning and uses summer crops to supplement meals for students who benefit from the district's summer lunch program.

💼 Pathways to Purpose Initiative: Expanding career-focused education across all Cherokee County high schools! Students will get hands-on, industry-aligned training in high-demand fields like healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and skilled trades.

🎨 ArtSpire: Enhancing the arts across all grade levels! This project will expand access to visual arts, theater, drama, and band/music programs for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Did you know your PEACH Education Tax Credit limit depends on your tax filing status? 🍑 Check out the different limits and put your Georgia state income tax dollars to work for public education:

A single individual or head of household can receive a Georgia state income tax credit of up to $2,500.

Milton High School is giving students hands-on ways to build real skills.
Through the PEACH Education Tax Credit, the school is working to fund two initiatives making a difference for students:

🛹 Gone Boarding is a project-based class where students design, construct, and learn to ride skateboards, longboards, paddle boards, and wake boards, building skills in engineering, design, and marketing along the way. PEACH funds will help eliminate fees for students to participate in this program, making it more accessible to everyone.

🎺 The Milton Marching Band program gives students the opportunity to grow as musicians, performers, and leaders. PEACH Tax Credit funds will help cover participation costs, including uniforms, instruments, and competition costs for eligible students, making it possible for more students to participate.
