Annual Flu Shots Available for Veterans

The annual flu vaccine will be available to Veterans starting Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Vaccine Center in the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm. No appointment needed. Walks-ins are welcome.

The vaccines will also be available at all VA clinics. Walk-in hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am - 2:30 pm. No appointment required.

Purple Heart is a United States military decoration awarded to service members who are wounded or killed in action against an enemy of the United States. It is the oldest military award still presented to American service members, with its origins tracing back to the Badge of Military Merit established by George Washington in 1782.
