Paul and Cory had a productive week in Washington, D.C., meeting with Georgia’s congressional delegation to advocate for important improvements to the federal school choice provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill (titled, the Education Freedom Tax Cut).

In partnership with the American Association of Christian Schools, we are pushing for changes that would better protect families and schools; benefit taxpayers to incentivize charitable giving; and eliminate the Governor opt-in requirement because every child, in every state, deserves access to school choice.

Citizen Impact is grateful for the opportunity to work on your behalf! We’ll keep you informed as this legislation progresses.

Yesterday marked the final day of the 2026 legislative session! From hosting pastors and student groups at the Capitol to advancing meaningful legislation, God has blessed.

Two highlights include the passage of the “Safe Place for Newborns Act” (this must still be signed by the governor) and successfully blocking any expansion of state-sponsored gambling, including sports betting.

Thank you for your prayers and for faithfully supporting this work as we serve on your behalf at the General Assembly. We truly could not do this without you.
