HCF’s Summer of Sport 💜😎💚

Last Friday we hosted our first event at HTC as over 75 kids from our Hibernian Footballing Community competed in our Around the World in 90 Minutes Tournament!

Young girls and boys from across Edinburgh gathered to compete and battle it out on behalf of nations competing at this summer’s World Cup, with Argentina winning the junior competition and Germany the winners for the elder group!

We’ll be posting more events over the next few weeks thanks to SFA South East!

HCF 🤝 Down's Syndrome Scotland 💜💚

⚽️ The World Cup is in full swing, and we are absolutely here for it! To celebrate, we are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between Down’s Syndrome Scotland and The Hibernian Community Foundation.

Starting this August HCF will be running fun, weekly football sessions specifically for children aged 5–14 with Down’s syndrome. Whether they are a future star or just want to run around and make friends, everyone is welcome!

Here are the details:
When: Fridays, 3:15pm – 4:00pm (Starting 7th August 2026 – March 2027)

Where: Bangholm Outdoor Centre, 23 Craighall Gardens, Edinburgh, EH6 4RJ
