For advice on benefits, debt or housing, be sure to pop into CHAI Edinburgh's drop in service, running every Tuesday morning from 10:00am to 12:30pm at Gate 55.

From Tuesday 1 September, CHAI will be running a weekly drop-in at Gate 55 for anyone in the South West Edinburgh community who needs advice or support.

Our advisers can help with welfare benefits, straightforward benefit forms, calls to benefit authorities, debt and housing issues.

We encourage all Council tenants to take the time to complete the survey. This is your opportunity to share your views on the housing services you receive and help shape future improvements.

Good news for Edinburgh housing applicants!

The City of Edinburgh Council has announced that, from 4th October 2026, people will once again be able to bid for Council housing through EdIndex – Key to Choice, following the end of the allocations policy suspension.
