We are recruiting 5 new people to form the next Sensory Collective team.
The Sensory Collective works to co-create sensory arts projects with people who face multiple barriers to accessing mainstream arts activities.

We are seeking 4 part-time Sensory Artists and 1 part-time Sensory Producer.
Sensory Producer (0.8 FTE / 4 days / 28hrs per week)
£32,000 per year (£25,600 actual). 18 month contract
Deadline for applications: 12 noon, Monday 24 August 2026
Start date: Week of 28 September 2026.

Sensory Artist – 4 jobs (0.6 FTE / 3 days / 21hrs per week)
£32,000 per year (£19,200 actual). 15 month contract
Deadline for applications: 12 noon, Monday 21 September 2026
Start date: week of 2 November 2026.

🎻 Ideas Jukebox has been nominated for Best Production for Children and Young People at the Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland 2026.

Well done to the team, led by creator & performer Hazel Darwin-Clements and collaborators: Andy Cannon, Fay Guiffo, Mamoru Iriguchi & Nik Paget-Tomlinson.

Congratulations to all the nominees!

Ideas Jukebox by Hazel Darwin-Clements, an Independent Arts Projects production premiered at Lyth Arts Centre on 31 August 2025. It was presented as part of a tour commissioned by Splore, the North Scotland Children’s Theatre and Dance Network between August 2025 and March 2026.

Producer Nina Doherty finishes up with IAP today after almost four and a half years. Starting with us as Sensory Collective producer in November 2021, Nina has been a key collaborator for projects led by Kirstin Abraham, Max Alexander, Sonia Allori, Jack Hunter, Aya Kobayashi, K Biff Nicolson, Ellen Renton, Saffy Setohy, Niroshini Thambar, Joanna Young.

Nina has presented work across schools, community spaces, care settings, theatres, woodlands and arts spaces. She has also been a core member of staff across huge periods of uncertainty, growth & change.

We’re so grateful for all that Nina has contributed to IAP in this time and wish her the very best in her new role with Vanishing Point in Glasgow.

We are seeking an experienced Producer of new theatre and participative arts projects to work on a varied programme of performance, workshops & events.

The Producer will work closely with artists, collaborators, funders, and partners to help realise a programme that prioritises socially engaged practice, access and care.
