Our volunteers give something that money cannot buy: time, consistency and genuine care. Behind every volunteer is a network of support that makes their work possible. That includes the Edinburgh businesses who partner with us through Friends of Home-Start Edinburgh. If your organisation wants to be part of that network, we would love to hear from you. https://www.homestartedinburgh.org.uk/friends/

Home-Start Edinburgh has supported families in this city for nearly 40 years. Trained volunteers visit families at home, building trusted relationships with parents who are isolated, overwhelmed or struggling in the early years. The Friends of Home-Start Edinburgh programme exists because that work costs money. And because Edinburgh businesses have both the resources and the community spirit to help. A business can become a Friend of Home-Start Edinburgh and in return receive recognition, employee engagement opportunities, and the knowledge that their support is reaching families who genuinely need it. Today we are launching something we are really proud of. Friends of Home-Start Edinburgh is our new corporate partnership programme, inviting businesses across the city to support the families we work with every day. For nearly 40 years, Home-Start Edinburgh has been there for parents who are struggling, isolated or overwhelmed in the early years of parenthood. Our volunteers make a real, lasting difference, and Edinburgh businesses can help make that possible. There is a level for every organisation. Know a business that might be interested?
