The Butterfly Trust

The Butterfly Trust Empowering people living with Cystic Fibrosis in Scotland

The Butterfly Trust was founded in 2002 to provide support to the Cystic Fibrosis community of Scotland. Our aim is that people living with Cystic Fibrosis will have access to the support they need to ensure they can benefit from optimum home care and enjoy the best possible quality of life in the community. This means providing practical help and advocacy to promote their rights by giving them a

voice in areas that include housing, finance, education, employment and independent living. We also offer emotional support and counselling to help relieve stress, and grants to alleviate financial hardship. All of our services are confidential and are provided free of charge to anyone affected by Cystic Fibrosis throughout Scotland. We are here to help so do not hesitate to contact us if there is support you need.

As part of our collection tin campaign to place 1,000 tins throughout Scotland we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us place and/or change collection tins for us in their local area. Also looking for someone to volunteer in our head office, 1 day per week, in Edinburgh, helping count money and labelling the cans up.

Tins are changed 3 times a year and we will give you full instructions and support on how you can help us with that.

We need people in Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire, Perth/Dundee, Fife, Glasgow, South Lanarkshire, Stirling/Falkirk, Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders.

If you feel you can help, please get in touch with our Fundraising Team on 0131 445 5590 or ping us a message on here.

Thank you to all of the businesses throughout Scotland who have supported or are currently supporting our campaign.

Over the next year we aim to place 1,000 collection tins in businesses throughout Scotland.

To achieve this, we need your help!

We need enthusiastic and willing people to help us place new tins, change tins every 3-4 months and to display them in their businesses.

If you are one of these people and want to do your part in supporting Scotland's Cystic Fibrosis Community, then please get in with our fundraising team on 0131 445 5590 or drop us a message on here.

Without your support, none of what do we is possible!

Thanks Fiona!
