As part of our collection tin campaign to place 1,000 tins throughout Scotland we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us place and/or change collection tins for us in their local area. Also looking for someone to volunteer in our head office, 1 day per week, in Edinburgh, helping count money and labelling the cans up.

Tins are changed 3 times a year and we will give you full instructions and support on how you can help us with that.

We need people in Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire, Perth/Dundee, Fife, Glasgow, South Lanarkshire, Stirling/Falkirk, Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders.

Was lovely to be invited to a collaboration event with the World Care Foundation in Edinburgh last month. A fantastic organisation who are providing, not only funds for The Butterfly Trust , but also support with other areas to support our work and Scotland's Cystic Fibrosis Community.

Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2026 is coming up on Sunday 13th of September and we would love to have your support there on the day. Whether it's the Mighty Stride (21miles) or the Big Stroll (11 miles) we will give you a promo code for FREE entry if you commit to raising a minimum of £100.

Massive thank you to Specialized Signs for raising £1,160, participating at Tough Mudder, to support the work of The Butterfly Trust and Scotland's Cystic Fibrosis Community.

Great effort from the Specialized Signs team and for their fantastic signage on the side of their building promoting the Trust and their fundraising efforts.

Over the next year we aim to place 1,000 collection tins in businesses throughout Scotland.

To achieve this, we need your help!

We need enthusiastic and willing people to help us place new tins, change tins every 3-4 months and to display them in their businesses.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 8th annual golf day at Swanston Golf Club a couple of weeks ago.
