We support people over 60 in Edinburgh EH10 & EH13 who are disadvantaged by illness, disability or at risk of social isolation.

We will be at Volunteer Edinburgh's yearly recruitment fair on Tues 1st September at York Place. Open 10:00 - 17:30 and completely free to attend for anyone who's interested in volunteering.

Come say hello to Rachael and Robin at Table no.5. We'll be looking to connect with potential new Befriending Volunteers, who have an hour to spare per week to give company and conversation to a lonely older person living in isolation. We'll be handing out applications and answering all your questions.

Making a positive difference for someone who is feeling lonely or isolated, really is as simple as stopping by for a coffee and a blether. Our Volunteers visit someone for just 1-2 hours a week. It costs them nothing, it uplifts you both, and it makes a real impact! Drop us an email or a whatsapp if you'd love to join us in reducing loneliness.

A Wonderful End to an Uplifting Week - Day 3🌟

What a brilliant way to end an amazing week with Danny Feelgood. Thank you for three days full of laughter, music, and great dancing. It's been so uplifting to see everyone smiling, joining in, and having so much fun. We even had a special performance from our very own Liz.🎤

We've enjoyed three fabulous lunches out at the Hunters Tryst, Swanston, as a special thank you to our wonderful service users for their continued support.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic and the company was even better! 💙 It's always lovely to spend quality time together, sharing laughs over food.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make each lunch such a wonderful occasion. We look forward to many more happy days together! 🥰
