"Thank you for being here. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for letting the world be filled with your presence."

"People are not ready for the life you are about to achieve. Don’t lose hope. Even the most beautiful trees take years to get those roots well grounded."

"Sometimes life feels a little too heavy for us to imagine what joy can look like. Whenever those days come, please remember that there is hope. I promise you that there is hope."

We are well into Pride month and it is flying by! We wanted to share some words of wisdom from our wonderful youth workers who are travelling all over Scotland to meet LGBTQ+ young people at their local Prides.

We feel very proud of the youth work that we deliver across Scotland. Through youth groups, 1:1 support, outreach, education and online spaces, we help young people build confidence, feel less alone and move towards positive futures. Every year we directly support over 1,000 young people and reach more than 30,000 others through programmes that make schools, communities and services more inclusive.

We want to know, What Makes You Proud?

Get in touch by emailing [email protected] or head to our website to find resources to help support LGBT Youth Scotland this Pride!

It’s Le***an Visibility Week and it has got us thinking about the practise of q***r signalling.

Signalling is a way for members of the LGBTQ+ community to communicate to each other through visual cues to create safer spaces and embolden self expression.

Signalling builds community, romantic and sexual connection and a sense of belonging. The practise has shifted over the years as we continue to work for a wider acceptance of q***r identities. Where once we signalled through discrete nods, we now loudly declare that we are q***r.

🌻 Today is Earth Day and the theme for 2026 is 'Our Power, Our Planet.'

🌏 Young people have long been instrumental in leading peaceful, proactive change towards climate justice.

🐸 This year the focus is community-driven action and personal responsibility so here are some suggestions for how you can celebrate Earth Day this year.
