A ceremony to celebrate the commissioning of HMS Stirling Castle has been held at the Port of Grangemouth on the River Forth.

She officially joined the fleet last summer and has since been the first naval warship to be affiliated with the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar.

The Prince of Wales has visited HM Naval Base Clyde to mark 125 years of the Royal Navy's Submarine Service

Prince William met personnel at the base before chatting to families at Drumfork Community Centre in Helensburgh.
