We are pleased to share the Shifting Seats: Trends in Live Event Attendance and Ticket Buying report.

Released by CircuitWest with Culture Counts, the report highlights a positive return to live performance across Western Australia, with audiences reconnecting with arts and culture in growing numbers.

The key findings also reveal how rising costs and changing consumer behaviours are reshaping the way people discover, purchase and attend live events in 2025, offering valuable insights for presenters and producers across the sector.

What happens when artists are given time to truly connect with a community?

Our new video, Residency Touring - Where Trust Pays Off, explores the magic of residency touring through the much loved Mama Stitch by Whiskey & Boots.

With insights from the artists as well as Arts Narrogin and Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council, and created by The Filmmaker, it's a beautiful look at why more presenters are embracing residency touring.

Watch the full video on our website and discover why trust really does pay off.

CircuitWest is bringing Aliwah Bardinar! (Look Out Rosella!) to the Indian Ocean Territories - a vibrant Noongar children’s production by breaksea.org

Created by Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse, the show blends puppetry, dance and music to share the Noongar creation story of the bardinar (western rosella) across Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Christmas Island.

Gina Williams-Ghouse, Writer & Performer, says: “I am so thrilled to be touring our beautiful little Bardinar across the waters to the Indian Oceans Territories! Matt, Pia and our wonderful friends at Breaksea have weaved magic into this little creation story and I’m certain it will delight all who come to see it. And of course we remain incredibly grateful to CircuitWest for their enduring support. None of this touring would be possible without them. See you soon!”

The first stop is the Cocos (Keeling) Islands on Saturday 6 June 2026 at West Island Scout Hall.
