Join us for Boorloo’s first ever Radio Ride on Sunday 1st of November! This is the final event of the SOUND BIKING Series.

As part of Eduardo Cossio’s Know Thy Neighbour #4 project, we will traverse the unique environments in Dayton as we live stream recordings, performances, and stories collected during the series. This event is co-presented with Radio DADAA.

You are able to participate without a bicycle!

⋆˚࿔ Running Geoglyphs 𖣠 ᯓ🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️

Know Thy Neighbour #4 artist Cassandra Tytler works with Town of Victoria Park and Burswood Parkrun Community to explore a place through counter-mapping and relationships that extend beyond its mapped boundaries.

“Just over 55 Parkrunners generously took part in this re-map of a section of a grassed area. Together, they ran and walked this new shape, bringing something new into existence. It made me think of geoglyphs, where a collective can create something larger than themselves without being able to see the whole shape as they make it.”

⋆˚࿔ Circular Economies Exhibition: Loren Kronemyer
We’re preparing for the Circular Economies exhibition at PICA. Opening this weekend - 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲 ! Here’s a little peek at Loren Kronemyer’s work; Materiel World.

Loren’s project explores the paradox of weaponry as an expression of a circular economy, considering the nuanced ethics and logistics that apply to dangerous matter that circulates through the built environment. With the support of Cannery Arts Centre and through collaboration with sport-shooting specialists and the Esperance Pottery Club, she learned to cast sculptures informed by bullets and clay pigeons out of e-waste metals and found materials sourced locally.

@⋆˚࿔ Improvising with the Environment Workshop ˚˖𓍢ִ໋🍃˚.⛰️⋆

Join us for the third workshop of SOUND BIKING Series on Sunday 18th of October, where will explore sound-making in response to the environment.

The workshop will be facilitated by Know Thy Neighbour #4 artist Eduardo Cossio and experimental improviser Sage Pbbbt. With an emphasis on vocals, participants will be guided through site-specific performance approaches where the environment is regarded as a co-creative musical partner.

Open to all levels of experience. Instruments also welcome.

We’re preparing for the Circular Economies exhibition at PICA. 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲. Here’s a little peek at Zali Morgan and Ilona McGuire’s work; Underlying.

These two formidable First Nations artists come together collaboratively, with the support of North Midlands Project, to consider the untold stories of Aboriginal communities in Carnamah and the surrounding areas. Sometimes, the pieces of the puzzle which cannot be found give us as much meaning as the ones that could.

“...we have come to understand that the answers we were first searching for might not be for us to know or for us to explore through our work.”

OPEN SPACE emerging producers joined SPACED for a weekend of talks, workshops and excursions at the 2026 WA Regional Arts Triennial. Each regional producer was employed to support our Circular Economies artists whilst on residency in locations around WA.

⋆˚࿔ Circular Economies Exhibition: Linda Tegg
We’re preparing for the Circular Economies exhibition at PICA. 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲. Here’s a little peek at Linda Teggs’s work; Situational Awareness.

Bringing awareness to intangible cultural resources, and challenging dominant narratives in space exploration, the project considers how this satellite system can connect communities to the world, yet also threaten vital Yingarrda cultural stories of astronomy with light pollution. With the support of Shire of Carnarvon and Yingarrda cultural leader Rennee Turner, Situational Awareness proposes a grounded alternative, imagining new narratives rooted in place, culture and interconnection.
