The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation Connecting the Indian and Southern Oceans, the Munda Biddi Trail is a 1,050+-kilometre corridor through largely undeveloped bushland.

The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation supports and promotes Western Australia’s iconic 1,067 km off-road cycling trail, connecting riders with nature through volunteer-driven trail care, advocacy, and adventure. Winding its way between the Perth Hills and Albany, the Munda Biddi Tail offers cyclists of varying abilities one of the best nature based off-road cycling experiences in the world. Whether for a half-day excursion out to a camp and back, or a two-week, end-to-end expedition, there is a ride to suit everyone.

What an incredible weekend in Nannup! 🚴🌿

The buzz of the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships was something special, and we loved being part of it!

So many people stopped by to share their Munda Biddi stories and chat about their next adventure. A real highlight was meeting interstate and international riders who were heading out to ride the trail after the race, making the most of their visit to WA! 🚴🌿

We also brought along our Biddi Pod to showcase our Trail Crew program and share how our volunteers help care for the trail. It was great to introduce the program to new faces and chat with those interested in getting involved. đź’š

A huge thank you to our Chair, Chris Tallentire, and Board member James Mandy, who were alongside us for most of the weekend. A special shout-out to James for his enthusiasm and selling so many raffle tickets!

Thanks also to our fantastic volunteers, Jeremy, Sarah and Scott for giving up their time over the weekend to help at the stall, we’re so grateful for your support. 👏

Congratulations to our raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, picked up some merchandise or stopped for a chat.

We came home tired but happy, with plenty of stories and a lovely reminder of the community behind our trail.

You give so much to the Munda Biddi Trail, and it’s our chance to say thank you! 💚

Join us for a relaxed weekend of riding, good food, great company and time to enjoy the outdoors together. We’ll cover your camping fees from Friday night to Monday morning!

🚲 Saturday: Social ride with a lunch stop near the Dam Wall. Bring a picnic or grab something from the Dam Kiosk.

🍖 Saturday evening: Celebratory BBQ dinner as we reflect on the year’s achievements, recognise our volunteers’ contributions and present service awards.

🍳 Sunday morning: Bacon and egg breakfast, followed by time to relax, explore and enjoy the beautiful bush setting.

Bring your bike, camping gear, food and drinks, plus some nibbles to share.

Bookings are essential, and campervan and caravan spaces are limited.
We need at least 15 participants to secure the booking, so please book early!

We’d love to see you there. The more, Munda Biddian's the merrier!

Prescribed burning is being carried out near the Munda Biddi Trail.

The trail remains open and safe to use, however, smoke may affect the trail near Middle Road and Boronia Road.

Booner Mundak Campsite will remain OPEN.

For your safety adhere to and follow all signage and instructions from Parks and Wildlife and other emergency staff. Riders should be aware of fire operation vehicles and other traffic in the area.

🔥PRESCRIBED BURN DIVERSION - Westralia Conservation Park - Map 3a

The Munda Biddi Trail is closed for 9.1km due to prescribed burning. A 7.5km diversion via Patstone Rd is in place.

The original route will remain closed until declared safe.
For your safety DO NOT enter any closed trail, even if there are no indications of prescribed burning activity. Stay on the marked diversion and follow all signage or instructions from Parks and Wildlife staff.

Riders should be aware of fire operation vehicles and other traffic in the area.

A 1.4km diversion is in place along South Coast Highway.

UPDATE - St Johns Brook Bridge - Map4a: DIVERSION ALERT

Riders please do not ride on the Vasse Highway as it is a narrow winding busy road. Please stay on the diversion route.

Riders please be aware that the St Johns Wood Bridge is closed until further notice due to maintenance works, there is an alternate route marked across the adjacent dry riverbed. Please do not walk or ride on the bridge.

The bridge will remain closed until declared safe. For your safety stay on the marked diversion, adhere to, and follow all signage and instructions from Parks and Wildlife and other staff.

Denmark Trail Crew Weekend | Thank You!

A huge thank you to the 10 fantastic volunteers who braved the weather for our Denmark Region Trail Crew Weekend over the long weekend, with a special thanks to Area 5 Leader Garry Mannes for helping lead the weekend.

The crew tackled rail trail and single track sections near Wilson Inlet and in the Valley of the Giants, clearing dense vegetation and drainage to make the route safer and easier to ride.

It was also a great trial for our new RATO Push Trimmer, which powered through long grass, sedge and Watsonia, making light work of some challenging growth.

A highlight of the weekend was a memorable ride through the magnificent Valley of the Giants, a fitting reward for a hardworking crew. Thanks also to our Wayfinders Brendon and Sarah Hynes for supporting the ride, then coming back to lend a hand on the tools!

The rain didn’t stop the crew, who kept working until thunder and lightning finally called time. Back at the chalet, hearty food, good company and a warm log fire were well earned.

This was our final Trail Crew deployment for 2026. Thank you to everyone who has given their time, energy and skills to care for the Trail this year. We’ve achieved so much together.

đź“Ł UCI Munda Biddi Stall Helpers Needed đź“Ł

The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation has a expo stall and the Trail Crew 'Biddi Pod' on Display at the UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup this weekend, and we’re looking for friendly volunteers to help our staff across the weekend.

Whether you can spare a few hours or stay a little longer, we’d love your help chatting with visitors, sharing information about the Munda Biddi Trail and lending a hand around the stall.

You don’t need to be a Trail expert, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a world-class cycling event right here in WA!
