The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) announced that it has chosen the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City as its venue for the 2026 Filipino Diaspora Summit on 16 June 2026.
With just two months remaining before the Summit, the CFO is calling on Filipinos worldwide to return to the Philippines and join approximately 350 diaspora leaders, government officials, private sector representatives, and civil society organizations from over 200 countries and territories. The Summit aims to redefine and strengthen the role of the Filipino diaspora in advancing national development.

"We are inviting our kababayans across the globe to return to the Philippines this June, reconnect with their roots, and help shape a bold new chapter in how the diaspora partners with the homeland for transformative change," says Secretary Dante "Klink" Ang II, CFO Chairperson.
The CFO is specifically inviting diaspora leaders and community advocates abroad, including Filipino permanent migrants, naturalized and dual citizens, spouses and partners of foreign nationals, descendants of overseas Filipinos, and Filipino youth overseas, who collectively represent the majority of the estimated 10 million Filipinos living worldwide.
Coinciding with the CFO's 46th anniversary, the Summit marks a paradigm shift in how the Philippines engages with its diaspora, positioning them as strategic partners whose global reach, expertise, networks, and influence can drive transformative change across the countryโs cultural, economic, and political landscape
