📖You may have heard of a novel being adapted into a musical, but have you ever heard of a novel and musical developed simultaneously to mine the magic of both genres? 🎶

Welcome to

Brennan & White brainstormed this musical concept in discussions with the incredible and went on to develop it in musical form with young people

In the absence of more in-person development, they spent a year developing the novel. Then, they were invited to develop the musical further with with the amazing and a wonderfully generous creative team.

Now, we are so excited to share that the book is available for purchase wherever books are sold.

Check-In: a little book to practice presence together was born of intense study of Lewis Carroll coupled with Linklater as well as the need to find a pocket-sized, easily transportable diversion.

Check-In is just that. Small enough for tiny hands, big enough to kill time until the food arrives. Stash one in the car or your bag so you and your child can remember to stay present and enjoy your precious time together when the world gets too crazy, chaotic and loud.
