“Oh, the thinks you can think!” — when Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters collide in an unforgettable musical caper.

Seussical is a family-friendly musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s classic works, narrated by the ever-popular Cat in the Hat. The story follows Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing the Whos — tiny people living on a microscopic planet. Horton must protect them from ridicule, danger, and even kidnapping, while also guarding an abandoned egg left by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird . Alongside him is Gertrude McFuzz, whose unwavering faith in Horton becomes a beacon of hope.

The show blends humor, heart, and high-energy musical numbers, weaving themes of friendship, loyalty, family, and community. It’s designed to entertain audiences of all ages, with performers portraying beloved Seussian characters in a vibrant, imaginative production.
This production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International(MTI) All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.s

Our friends across the river Susquehanna Stage are seeking some very specific actors for their next staged reading!

🥊PLEASE SHARE! We are looking for 3 actors to finalize the cast for our upcoming staged reading; Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties, a bold, hilarious, and unapologetically q***r comedy by Jen Silverman that follows five very different women - all named Betty - as they collide at the intersection of anger, love, identity, and theater. Packed with sharp humor and unexpected heart, this wildly inventive play explores what happens when we stop playing the roles others have written for us and start creating our own.

Performance Date: Saturday, July 11th | 8pm

Ken Ludwig!!!!!!!

Our friends over at The Belmont Theatre are hosting a York Legend for one night of theatrical celebration.

Before there were Tony Awards, there was a seat in The Belmont audience.

This July, York native and Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig returns to the theatre that helped inspire his lifelong love of storytelling for a special opening night celebration of Ken Ludwig's Dear Jack, Dear Louise.

Join us on Friday, July 24 for An Evening with Ken Ludwig, an exclusive event featuring a champagne reception with light fare, welcome remarks from Ludwig, the opening night performance, a post-show Q&A, and an elegant dessert and coffee reception.

Known for acclaimed works including Lend Me a Tenor, Crazy for You, Moon Over Buffalo, and Baskerville, Ludwig has often credited his early experiences at The Belmont as instrumental in shaping his remarkable career.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to celebrate opening night with one of America's most celebrated playwrights as he returns home to York and The Belmont Theatre.
