3 Month Mission Opportunities! Shalom Christian Missions oversees New Beginnings Children's Center in Magunga, Nyanza, Kenya. We provide a place for orphans and vulnerable children to live and grow. A place to become caring adults who know and have experienced the love of Jesus Christ. We have a sponsor program that makes it possible for a child to live at the

center, receive three meals a day, attend school, have medical care and clothing. Sponsor a child today and give them the gift of HOPE. BE THE DIFFERENCE!! We offer short term mission trips to our center where you can visit with the children and serve the community. What a beautiful way to get to know a child that you sponsor. For many children who have no one who cares, it means the world to them to have someone visit them. THANKFUL TUESDAY! We are so very THANKFUL for our Social Workers. Their job is so varied and this past week it meant one spending the week with a sick child in the hospital far away, while her coworkers filled in, in every other way. THANK YOU to all of them and the entire Child Welfare Department for all they do for these children. May God bless you all.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE MONDAY! For everyone who helped try to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in Denzel's life, THANK YOU! It is with much sorrow that we tell you, Denzel passed away this morning. As much as the hospital team and all of us tried to save his life, his heart was too damaged. He went to be with Jesus who will now heal his heart in many ways. THANK YOU to all who have been praying and for all who gave financially. We are still left with a bill for his hospital care. The total cost at this point has been about $5000. Plus, we will need to transport the body back to his home. We have raised about $1600 to date. If anyone would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Pray for his family especially his mother and siblings as they go through this time of grieving.
