Breaking Bread Community Shelter will host Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) and Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law for a free legal outreach, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at 7200 Chestnut St., Upper Darby, PA 19082. (Long Lane entrance)

The clinic is designed to help people experiencing homelessness / low incomes.

Thanks to Troutman Pepper Locke LLP for providing hashtag support!

Legal issues the clinic may be able to address include custody & family, consumer / debt relief, Social Security, Unemployment Compensation, expungements & Clean Slate 3.0, Medicaid, SNAP, housing, landlord-tenant, Veterans benefits, domestic violence, utilities (gas, electric, water), legal problems caused by Hurricane Ida and more.

Breaking Bread Community Shelter is proud to show off our new commercial refrigerator- granted to us by the Delaware County Health Department.
We have been opening our doors to anyone needing an escape from the code blue temps - all day, every day this week.
Thank you to the county for allowing us to remain open during the frigid temps.
Thank you to the DCHD for allowing us to serve more of our community with our new fridge!

And thank you to Cindy Evans at DelCo Health Department who provided us with lunches for our code blue days!
We are so grateful for the support, and grateful to be a warm and welcoming hub for our community in need. ❤️
If you are hungry and tired, we will feed you and break bread with you!

UPPER DARBY - Breaking Bread Community Shelter will host Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) for upcoming free legal outreach in Upper Darby.

Each event is from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at 7200 Chestnut St., Upper Darby, PA 19082. (Please use entrance on Long Lane.)
