A healthier, stronger community starts with connection! 🫶

Today, NAMI York-Adams Counties had the pleasure of participating in the October Community Health Fair at St. Peter's Lutheran Church!

We loved connecting with community members, sharing mental health resources, and raising awareness about the importance of mental health education, support, and advocacy.

A special thank you to State Representative Carol Hill-Evans and her team for bringing our community together and inviting us to be part of this wonderful event!

Together, we can build a community where no one feels alone in their mental health journey. 💙

We loved spending time with our community today at the York City Police Department Fall Fest! 🍂💙🍁

Events like this are a great reminder that mental health support starts with connection—showing up, building relationships, sharing resources, and letting people know they don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Thank you to the York City Police Department for bringing the community together and giving us the opportunity to be part of such a fun day!

Our new in-person NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group meets every other Thursday at our York office.

NAMI Connection is a free, peer-led support group for adults who have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. No pressure, no cost, and no complicated process — just show up.

This weekend we attended the Community Breakfast at the Union Lutheran Church in York City!

They give out free food, free clothing, and have a pharmacist on site to educate people and help with any medical issues someone may be struggling with.

It’s a beautiful event built on service and community 💕
