False. Foster parents can be single or married, and you don’t have to own a home. What matters most is having a safe, stable, and supportive home environment.

We’re excited to see our community investing in the next generation of changemakers. Thank you to Give Local York and the White Rose Leadership Institute for bringing the Philanthropy in Education (PIE) program to Red Lion Area Senior High School! These Community Resource Fairs give students the opportunity to learn about local nonprofits, explore careers in the nonprofit sector, and discover meaningful ways to get involved in their communities.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference. We’re grateful for programs like PIE that connect students with the resources and opportunities they need to become engaged community members and future leaders.
