Every child deserves a future free from polio. Rotary is proud of the progress we’ve made, but there is still work to do. This World Polio Day, we stand together with Rotarians around the world to finish the fight and make polio history!

Since 1988, Rotary and its partners have immunized more than 3 billion children worldwide against polio, helping reduce cases by more than 99.9%! That is incredible progress, but the fight isn’t over.

World Polio Day is a time to recognize how far we’ve come, raise awareness, and renew our commitment to ending polio for good. Through the dedication of Rotarians and partners around the world, we are closer than ever to a polio-free future.

Together, we can finish the fight!

Rotary is all about Service Above Self, and the Rotary Club of York takes pride in making a difference in our community through service and volunteerism.

Recently, several of our members volunteered at William Penn High School for the Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our local schools, celebrate the diversity of our community, and show up where we are needed.

A big thank you to our Rotarians who gave their time to be part of this special event!

Member Spotlight: Courtney Bailey Piccolo

Past President Courtney Piccolo has been a member of the Rotary Club of York for 13 years and served as Club President during the 2024–2025 Rotary year.

Today, she continues to make a difference as Vice Chair of the Membership Engagement Committee and as a member of the Communications Committee.

We are grateful for Courtney’s many years of service, leadership, and commitment to Rotary and our York community!

A big thank you to Rotarian Dylan Bauer and Royal Square for hosting the Rotary Club of York for a wonderful BizTour and Networking event tonight!

We enjoyed our walking tour and getting a behind the scenes look at some of York’s historic buildings. It was a great evening of exploring downtown York and connecting with fellow Rotarians.

The Rotary Club of York held a wonderful networking event on Thursday, October 8, at the York County History Center!

It was a great evening of connecting with fellow community leaders, learning more about Rotary’s impact, and building relationships with people who share a passion for making a difference in York.
